Quadjam Values
Accessibility
Technology should work for everyone. We design and build with accessibility as a core requirement, not an afterthought.
Our Commitment
At Quadjam Enterprises Inc., we believe that every person — regardless of ability, disability, age, or technology — deserves equal access to the digital world. Accessibility is not a checkbox we tick at the end of a project. It is woven into every decision we make when designing websites, building applications, and training our clients.
We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as the baseline standard for every web project we deliver. We also encourage our clients to adopt this standard across their own platforms.
What We Do
-
✓
Semantic HTML: We use proper heading structures, landmark regions, and meaningful link text so screen readers can navigate pages correctly.
-
✓
Keyboard navigation: Every interactive element on our sites is reachable and operable without a mouse.
-
✓
Color contrast: We test foreground and background color combinations to meet WCAG minimum contrast ratios for normal and large text.
-
✓
Alternative text: Every meaningful image includes descriptive alt text so users relying on screen readers receive the same information as sighted users.
-
✓
Responsive design: Our sites are tested across screen sizes, from mobile phones to large desktop monitors, ensuring usability for all devices.
-
✓
Form accessibility: All forms include visible labels, clear error messages, and proper input associations so users with assistive technology can complete them successfully.
Accessibility in Our Services
Quadjam's training programs include a module on digital accessibility for clients who manage their own websites or content. We teach our clients not just how to use their platforms, but how to use them responsibly — so their own customers are never locked out.
Our virtual assistant teams are trained to create documents, presentations, and spreadsheets that meet accessibility standards, including properly tagged PDFs and accessible Office documents.
