In November 2000, Quadidra S. Williams and Jamil T. Williams embarked on a mission to transform the tech landscape. The founders were motivated by their enthusiasm for technology and dedication to serving their community. The company's name reflects the combination of their first names and represents their unified vision and collaborative approach.
Empowering the Next Generation
Quadjam Enterprises Inc. was born from a desire to create opportunities for their own children and their friends. Operating within an industry that historically lacked diversity, the founders recognized an opportunity to make meaningful change. They established technical summer positions specifically to provide young people of color with the same educational and professional access their peers enjoyed, fostering exploration and development in technology fields.
A Commitment to Education and Community
Quadidra's passion for education extended beyond their business. Recognizing the importance of early exposure to technology, she pioneered a web development program in the Philadelphia School District. This initiative aimed to integrate technology education into the school curriculum, ensuring that students from all backgrounds could develop essential tech skills.
