Quadjam is looking for a creative UI/Web Developer who wants to be a part of our team. The UI/Web Developer will be responsible for designing and building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications, including the Quadjam website. The UI/Web Developer will translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. This is a work from home position, but the employee is required to come to quarterly meetings in-house. The interview process can be video conferencing or face-to-face. A background check will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Quadjam developers and designers to develop exemplary products
• Act as the front-end web developer for Quadjam and its clients
• Monitor site performance and make updates to improve content and visuals when necessary
• Make suggestions and implement website improvements that will positively impact load times, SEO, and user experience
• Ensure website responsiveness (All screen-sizes and operating systems)
• Create quality mockups
• Communicate effectively
• Collaborate with Software Engineers and QA professionals
• Encourage and practice design thinking principles

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with HTML and CSS, front-end frameworks, and content management systems including but not limited to WordPress
• Degree or 4+ years of work experience in User Interaction Design, User Experience Design or relevant field
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• Experience using Java Script and jQuery (Not required but desired)
• Knowledge of SEO principles and web analytics
• Experience conducting user research and testing a plus
• Attention to visual and user interaction details
• Proficiency with Adobe Suite
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated constructive collaboration and communication skills
• Able to give and receive critical feedback
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
